Food prohibido
Recently, we discovered my son is allergic to egg and peanut (all nuts). Common allergies you always hear about but when you actually have to deal with it and avoid certain foods, its a whole different scenario. The first day I did research and hardly ate for fear I would eat something I wasn't supposed to. I thought I figured what I could not eat and was doing fine. The real test was the my son's eczema was not improving. It seemed that way for the short term but then the temperature cooled down and we had to turn the heater on, which aggravated it. ugh. Long story short, I went to other pediatrician(not our normal) to see about it again and some other issues and left frustrated with no answers other than to continue doing what I have been doing. Me, in tears, with son uncomfortable and itchy, etc. and nothing I can do??? through my dentist office...nice receptionist put me in contact with another mom that knows all about it. I spoke with her and I ended up going to an acupressure doctor yesterday. He advised for us to stay away from all dairy and poultry, as it is making us weak. He explained many things but one of the main things is that my son's liver cannot process all the items and so it is coming out in his skin...eczema. It is very hard to not have dairy...you would not believe how it is in everything we eat....CRAP! And because I am nursing I am HUNGRY!!!! I am struggling but am still trying to have a positive outlook...as it will make my son less uncomfortable and hopefully get rid of his annoying eczema. I will do whatever it takes to make him feel better. I have other restrictions such as not having any liquid while eating and must wait 30 minutes. I am also taking supplements to assist with the digestive process and with histamine stuff. I am hoping that as the days continue...I get a better grasp on my dietary needs and see improvement in my son.

deals, deals, deals
I get so many deals between my emails and my "likes" on fb, that when I actually have to go and purchase something my head is spinning trying to recall where and how I can get the best savings. Not to mention, if you sign up for this you get points or if you click on this website from this website you get points. I need a degree to 'deal' with all the deals.

who has time/swaddle me
I love that I have set this blog up and have had no time to write anything. I am so stinking new to this so here goes...nothing! My dilemma of the day is...to swaddle or not to swaddle with a big question mark on the end. Do I put him in a sleeper and in the crib all free and risk not sleeping in the hopes of getting some consistent sleep through the entire night or just swaddle him and put him back in the napper that I have been using that seems to work. Fix what is broken or not broken? Why is this sleep thing so difficult with babies??? And, I love all the advice...makes me more crazy than I already am about it.
I just think...I never, well I tried and the doctors told me to skip it with my daughter, and well I never did 'sleep train' her and she sleeps better than I do!!! So, is all that CIO/FERBER really necessary? I am for the attached parenting and all but I am also of the camp of "I want some more sleep". And, doing the CIO requires me to not get some sleep at first...not so willing to loose any more precious sleep than I already have. Now, if someone wants to come over and do it for me...that might work :) And, really that method does not guarantee that he will magically start sleeping through the night consistently. I say I am just going to continue what I have been doing and know that someday in the future he will sleep through the night on his own. With that said...I will try feeding him differently and those kinds of things that may help.
And that is how it all began...me under pressure :)
