conflicted

Some days are better than others. I love being with the baby about 99% of the time. I just need a break 1% so that I can be a better mom. I think staying in all week when he gets ill really max's me out.

I have to share this article: http://moms.today.com/_question/2011/03/24/6331351-are-peanut-allergy-protections-in-schools-going-too-far

It is frustrating to me to say the least. Ignorant people...exposing food allergies children to the food they are allergic to does not the same as toughening them up. I think those people that say the stupid things they say..were the ones that apparently needed to wear the helmets that they are complaining about in the same sense that they think we are babying our children...too much head trauma made them stupid. Stupid is as stupid does. right?! Go Forrest Gump!

having a baby is sooo last year ;)

My baby boy turned a year a couple weekends ago. I can't believe it. And my big baby is going to be 16 years old soon. I can't decide which is harder to deal with? I can't bear either, LOL!

I am taking my son to the zoo tmr. I can't wait to see his little face when he sees all the new animals. I think I am going to have a wonderful time. And to add to my happiness, I will be there with some good friends that I rarely get to see anymore. So, today is prep prep prep! I have to take food that is allergy free. It takes so long to get out of the house with a baby. I am going to have to pack everything tonight, so I can make it out the door and be there on time! It is amazing how many things you need for someone so little. I think I've better go shopping for some goodies or check out the ones I already have.

I just got word that our baby's godparents are having a boy!!!
